Our Story...The Lake Holcombe Cafe was established in March 2014. Jane, the owner and operator of the cafe is a 1981 Holcombe graduate. Growing up a mile from the cafe on the family farm, her mother taught her old fashion, home cooking using real butter and fresh fruits and vegetables. Jane gets the help from her three daughters: Kimberly, Katharine and Kelsey. Each the girls brings different experiences to the cafe.
Fresh fruits and vegetables make up the base of all the menu items. We use real Wisconsin butter and cheese, fresh certified Angus burgers and premium beef USDA choice steaks. Some of the family and local favorites are: the Sherry Jerry's, The Olivia, The Edsel Omelet and The Mary Jane which are named after family who we cherish very much. The most popular menu item is the Sammy's Omelet, which is named after Jane's nephew Sammy. You might catch Sam on the weekends at the cafe cooking or washing dishes. |
